- For the purposes of these terms and conditions, the customer is referred to as “the hirer”.
- TJ Photobooths is referred to as “the company”.
- Your booking is only regarded as confirmed upon receipt of cleared funds as deposit.
- The deposit required is £50 and is non-refundable. This reflects the work we put into events prior to attending, and the bookings we have missed by securing your date.
- The balance for your booking must be paid, in full, at least 6 weeks prior to the event.
- No service will be provided unless cleared funds have been received in full.
- If you do not respond to reminders and your balance is still outstanding 7 days prior to your event. We will assume that you no longer require our services and the booking will be cancelled without further notice.
- The company requires immediate notification of cancellation of the event in writing.
- Should cancellation occur within 10 weeks of the event, then 50% of the outstanding balance will be due.
- Should cancellation occur within 6 weeks of the event 100% of the outstanding balance will be due.
- Our London surcharge is to cover all the associated costs for travelling in and out of London, including parking and extra time to travel.
- Our booth/mirror is a no drinking , no smoking booth/mirror.
- The hirer will be responsible for any damage caused to the companies equipment however caused by the hirer, or the hirers guests.
- It is the hirers responsibility to ensure we have sufficient room to set up. We will take guidance from the venue / hirer in regards to set up location.
- Once set up our equipment cannot be moved.
- For unattended hires the hirer is solely responsible for the product(s) left in their care. Once in place our products and backdrops must not be moved. If any of our products or backdrops are moved and the quality of the picture is affected we cannot be held responsible.
- It is the responsibility of the hirer to provide the correct information at time of booking, the company accepts no liability for incorrect information.
- The company will not accept liability for any changes made to the booking unless written confirmation is received no later than 28 days prior to the event date.
- During the event we reserve the right to close early if people become abusive to us or are not using the booth/mirror as instructed to the point where it is at risk of damage. This is for the safety of ourselves and other guests.
- The company reserves the right to amend or alter these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice.
- Any compensation for what ever reason will not exceed the hire of the booth.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult in the booth unless otherwise agreed.
- The time slot that is booked with us can not be changed on the day or night of the hire. This includes weddings where the venue or schedule has fallen behind. We are happy to wait and start later, however our finish time will be what was agreed at the time of booking. If extra time is required this is at our discretion and may include an additional charge. Our last picture and latest finish time is 11pm. If you require a later finish time please get in touch before booking as this will depend on availability and may incur additional costs.
- Our arrival times are approximate depending on which product has been booked. We will always endeavour to arrive in appropriate time to ensure our product is operational at the booked start time.
- Due to them being electric all our products can not be placed outside unless on hard flooring and covered marquees, this is to be discussed at time of booking.
- Our DJ is able to do garden parties, weather permitting. Suitable hard flooring, adequate cover and electricity must be supplied.
- Our digital iiRing Selfie Pod and Selfie Post Box require internet connection to be fully functional. Sending SMS and Email and printing, where applicable, is dependent on internet connection. In the absence of internet connection the system will simply queue the shares and photo uploads until the unit has an internet connection again. However, please note that if there is no internet connection your guests will not receive their photos instantly but only once the unit has an internet connection again and the photos are uploaded. If you have booked a print package and there is no internet connection your guests may not receive a printed copy, other methods will still be available ie text, email. The hirer will receive their book and set of prints after the event.
- We reserve the right to use any pictures taken in our booth/mirror/pods for marketing purposes.
- To ensure business continuity and in order to provide our customers with the best possible service we may, at times, use a preferred third party supplier.
- If for any reason any of our products become unavailable due to damage we reserve the right to send an alternative product that may not be identical. If for any reason you are unhappy with this you must tell us upon set up. No refunds can be offered after the event.
- During these unprecedented times our staff may wear masks for the duration of the event.
PRIVACY NOTICE
In line with the new GDPR (2018) rules and regulations we will ensure that your data is kept safe. We will not sell or redistribute any of your personal details under any circumstances. We will hold your personal data provided to us for a maximum of 6 years for taxation and record keeping. If you wish for us to remove your personal details from our records, please put your request in writing to us and post to our business address. Your personal details are stored on a GDPR complaint cloud-based software with strict password protection policies are in place.
By signing this contract, you give us permission to contact any third parties in relations to your bookings such as venues and third party contractors where we may share details pertaining to the hire and your contract with us.
DATA
If you hired our services at a wedding fayre, or completed a hand-written booking form, we will keep hold of this information until a maximum of 12 months after the event has completed. This information will be stored in a locked cabinet. We will keep all details that you provide to us electronically via our GDPR compliant booking system, by booking with us, you give us consent to store this information electronically and virtually for a maximum of 6 years, after which date it will be securely destroyed.
